Our Mission

Nipawan means “pretty lady” in Thai. The company wants to help women admire their beauty through a range of fine lingerie. Self-love begins within ourselves. The body is in its most vulnerable state when it finds itself practically or completely naked. Thus, Nipawan believes that we must first love ourselves in our greatest vulnerability in order to be able to accept ourselves as we are. The collections offer high quality products that are easily adjustable for all types of shape and size to elevate self-confidence. Every woman deserves to feel beautiful and sexy regardless of nationality, beliefs and physical traits.

Ethic and Environment

We want to reassure our customers that all production is done ethically to support equality, human rights and worker safety. We promise that these values will always be our priorities. In no case we will tolerate actions or decisions that run counter to them. Nipawan also believes that a good product is not only based on creativity, but also on quality, sustainability and concerns for good management of the environmental footprint. The packaging is 100% recyclable and the ink used is non-toxic. Nipawan is committed to make decisions that value humanity.

Founder & President

“Nipawan means pretty young lady in the Thai language. In fact, that’s my birth name. I was adopted at the age of two by my family here. I must admit that growing up has not been easy for me. I felt like I was never enough not only physically, but also mentally. I was constantly looking for validation from someone else. I just didn’t know my worth.

However, I always knew that I wanted to have my own business in the fashion industry. I didn’t know the exact specification. It took a long time to find me. I remember when I was in my first apartment. I was looking through my phone for old photos and videos of me. I came across this photo where I am in a black lingerie set. It was my first boudoir photo shoot. I was a young woman who was just trying to enjoy her body. However, when they came out, I was judged and singled out. I was embarrassed, but completely destroyed. When I saw this photo again, I knew exactly the brand I wanted to build: Nipawan. It was also at this time that I found my inner fire which quickly became my power as a woman. I want to help women find that fire. I want them to appreciate themselves without worrying about the opinion of others. I don’t want them to apologize for being themselves.” –Julia MIGNAULT
